Electrical Engineering


The Electrical Engineering Department is one of the oldest departments of the Institute. The department has a well qualified faculty and technical supporting staff. All the laboratories are well equipped with latest instruments & equipment’s which are updated on regular basis. The department offers Diploma in Electrical Engineering with an intake of 60 students As a part of the curriculum, Industrial Visits, On Job trainings are arranged for students. Our main aim is to impart knowledge with innovative ideas to the students in the teaching-learning process. In the teaching-learning process, the students are given assignments and are made to work out exercise problems to equip themselves for the examination.


To impart knowledge and develop technically skilled diploma Electrical Engineers in academics, entrepreneurship and research to serve the industry and society.


·        To prepare diploma engineers with deep understanding of fundamentals of  Electrical Engineering.

·        To prepare professionals with good technical skills, positive attitude and ethical values.

·        To provide field knowledge to the students by industrial visits & expert interaction/lectures.

·        To prepare students to develop all round competitiveness and pursuing higher education.

  1. Understanding Fundamental Principles: To provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles underlying electrical engineering, including electromagnetism, circuit theory, signal processing, and power systems.
