History

Birla Technical Training Institute (BTTI), Pilani, was established in 1988 by the renowned industrialist and philanthropist, Late Shri Basant Kumar Birla, under the aegis of Shree Krishnarpan Charity Trust (SKCT). BTTI is one of the first private polytechnic colleges in Rajasthan. Since its inception, BTTI has made remarkable progress by adopting a student-centric approach. The institute boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure, including well-equipped laboratories, modern workshops, a rich library, and a team of qualified faculty members dedicated to helping students achieve excellence in academics and professional skills. BTTI has earned a strong reputation as a pioneering institution in the development and dissemination of technical knowledge and skills. It offers Polytechnic Diploma courses in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering. The institute is affiliated with the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan (BTER), Jodhpur, and is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Currently, SKCT is proudly led by Padma Bhushan Dr. Kumar Mangalam Birla as its Chairman. The institute continues to operate under the expert academic guidance of the Academic Advisory Council from BITS, Pilani.
